Personal training is an in-depth hour-long session in which I guide the client through a safe, pre-planned and goal orientated workout. In addition to weight training and cardiovascular exercise to fuel weight loss and build strength, I combine mobility/corrective exercises into my workouts to create a fitness program to keep you free of injury and aid in recovery. If you just don’t feel like your body is moving right, or you are in pain, I want to help.

I’ve worked in the industry for 7 years as an independent contractor at a local gym Vive Fitness, operating under my business Fit-InMotion Personal Training.iVive is a fitness studio dedicated to personal trainers and their clients. The address for Vive Fitness is 4023 Ne Hancock St, Portland, OR 97212. Because of complications with Google maps (Google not allowing multiple businesses claim the same address), I had to claim my Google maps listing outside of the actual gym. Sorry for the confusion!

As a fitness trainer, I help my clients accomplish their goals while keeping them safe from injury. I believe in working hard and making progress but doing it in a way that makes it benefit you twenty, thirty, forty years down the road rather than getting you injured. It is important for everyone to figure out what they like in fitness/exercise and go after it. The key to success is enjoying it! Not many people stick with something long-term that they don’t enjoy and I haven’t met anyone who was in shape and healthy who didn’t enjoy what they practiced to get there.

A prescribed exercise program is a routine that I assign my clients to follow outside of our time together. I push my clients to workout on their own. It allows us to make more progress and set that person up for success in the future if they ever decide to stop training. My routines cover everything from- strength training, mobility/flexibility, high-intensity interval training, agility/coordination, corrective exercises, and form. I am a  personal trainer who keeps his clients in a well-balanced program while keeping an emphasis on accomplishing their goals.
